Welcome! Today's showing brings you the latest works from two Palekh artists Vera Smirnova and Tatyana Smirnova, who have been doing some of the most creative lacquer box work for many years. We have carried their pieces dating back to the time that we began the business 16 years ago, and are always astonished at how unique and fresh their pieces always seem. Perhaps one of their boxes is just right for your collection or as a gift for someone you know? As a reminder, we are very pleased to have Vera Smirnova at our gallery on December 10-11 to show off some of her new works and demonstrate some of the techniques that are necessary to create these mini-mastepieces. We hope you can come! And she will have a couple more pieces finished by then, as well, which she is currently working on. These will be unveiled at the December 10-11 event.
