Lacquer Box Showing

Greetings! Today we have six fine lacquer miniatures from Showcase A to offer to you, and three more from Showcase B. Showcase A begins with a medium large box that depicts Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. It is truly a stellar work and the black background of Palekh makes the vibrant colors and exciting action of the two warring families really stand out. The lacquer plate "The Tale of Peter and Fevronia of Murom" follows this one and its pale green palette is quite lovely and makes it very distinctive. Fans of Fedoskino, meanwhile, will be love "Suzdal", a gorgeous architetural landscape from master artist M. Tugarinov. Three more excellent boxes finish Showing A, and don't forget about the ones in Showcase B, as well. They are all done pretty well and can add a certain charm to your collection or make great gifts.
