Welcome to our newest lacquer box presentation. Today we feature four fine maritime scenes by one of the masters of this genre, Fedoskino artist Davydova. Each one is filled with the fine details of the old ships, their sails, their masts, and even some of the crew. And the waves and sea have never been so beautiful. All the boxes have a great energy to them due in part to the beautiful colors that the artist uses. Despite their sterling workmanship and attention to detail, the price on these won't set you back too far, as Davydova has been very modest in what she asks for her works. Two other nice boxes round out today's show as well.
