Three boats, each with two men aboard, try to reel in the big one. Or should we say the big ones, since there are two in their nets (one of which seems to blend into the sea algae). Shades of greens and browns dominate the composition, but there are a variety of other colors as well. Good details throughout including some glowing gold ornaments on the top and sides. The box has a nice finish and sits on four small legs. The interior is red. There is a very slight crack in the bottom right corner of the top, but it is not very noticeable and doesn't seem like it will get worse anytime soon. (You can see it in the closeup picture of the top) The name of the artist, village and year are written on the bottom of the drawing.
