This box shows a young couple spending a day in the country. It looks like she might be the mover and shaker here as she seems to be urging her partner forward with her ("come on!"), and perhaps he doesn't want to move that fast. There is a little fluffy dog at her feet who is lapping up some dish with his doghouse in the background. Cute as a button! The box has a nice feel to it since the sides have a contour. There is a gold ornament on the top and another one along the sides. It is made out of paper mache and does not have a hinge. Signed with the name of the artist, village and year.
