A woman comes upon a little squirrel and raises her hand to touch the little guy. The squirrel is as perky as can be, smiles in his chipmunky way, and welcomes the lady's visit. Chirping birds aside, the woman represents Winter and her maturity reflects this last season of the year. She is wearing an elaborate coat with a lot of intricate silver lines. Fine touches of gold and silver lines highlight other parts of the drawing, as well, and the entire wooded scene seems very filled and detailed. The box has a very nice gold ornament around the sides. It is made out of high quality papier mache and sits on four small legs. Signed at the bottom of the drawing with the name of the artist and title.
