A lovely look at the Russian town of Sergiev Posad is painted on this box by Kholui artist A. Zimin. Even the front side is adorned with a small house, steeple and cupola. The architecture is bright and vivid, and many of the cupolas and roofs are enhanced with radiant gold and silver. For a small work, the box stands high and proud. It is made out of high quality papier mache and has a hinge. It sits on four small rounded legs. Signed with the name of the artist, village and title.
