A young Russian woman who is out picking berries stops along the way to greet a small bird. This small slice of life in the country is very well done with excellent details (right down to the girl's fingernails), and beautiful colors throughout. Mstera artist Suslova painted the scene using both traditional features (like the background sky and hills) along with more modern touches like the creative border that works in an apple tree into its design. The border uses a lot of radiant gold and colors that complement the drawing. The box is made out of high quality papier mache, sits flush on the surface of the table, and has a hinge at the left. The interior is red. Signed on the bottom with the name of the artist, village and title.
