This little box shows a stream cutting through the woods with a small trail running beside it to the left. There is a fork the trail, and one can cross a small bridge to explore the other side, if he or she wishes. The box is nicely done, and will certainly remind one of quiet days in the country, and the peaceful feeling one gets from being close to nature. The composition has a very small gold ornament that frames it. The sides and bottom are black, and the interior is red. It is made out of high quality papier mache and has a hinge at the top. Signed with the name of the artist and year. A beautiful little box for a reasonable price.
