Except for the hare afoot, there isn't much movement going on, yet the composition is remarkably dynamic due to the flowing, and swirling, lines used to depict the cool wintry gusts of wind. The Snow Maiden loves the atmosphere, and reaches to touch a tree. The box has a modest amount of gold leaf accentuating the objects on the drawing, a nice gold border that frames it and decorates the sides. The box is well crafted and has a hinge at the left. It is signed with the name of the artist, title and village.
