A vibrant bouquet of wildflowers blooms atop this dainty box, nestled into a frame of delicate golden traceries which call to mind a Russian shawl. Generous metallic accents, which, sadly, do not photograph well, glisten throughout. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the underside with the title, artist's name (Golubeva), and village. There is a hinge at the top, and the interior is red lacquer. The lid does not quite close completely, but this does not effect the beauty or structural integrity of the box. It rests on four curved legs.--BOX1502
