A beautiful siren, with feathers on her bottom half and the body and face of a woman on the top part, balances calmly on a small branch. She is painted with vibrant color and very intricate gold work. Her breasts have has dots of gold, too, on them which you cannot see in the photo here, but which partially mask her skin in that area. The miniature is painted on piece of Russian serpentine, set in german silver. Very hard to resist this siren!
