This star pin was worn by members of Oktyabryata - a youth organization in the Soviet Union. A member of this organization was called Oktyabryonok (literally: little Octobrist) and was a boy of 7-9 years of age. Every Oktyabryonok wore this pin depicting Lenin as a boy.
