This delicate little pendant depicts tiny Thumbelina surrounded by leaves and flowers. With her diminutive hands clasped together, and her garment shimmering with blue, red, lilac, and orange tones, she herself looks like a little flower perched atop a bush of greenery.

This lovely pendant is painted by a famous Russian lacquer artist from Palekh, Vera Smirnova, using traditional miniature lacquer painting techniques. The pendant is made from Rostov enamel and nested within a German silver frame.
