This rectangular composition shows the Snow Maiden in the company of her parents, Father Frost and Faerie Spring. The cool blues and light greens create a lovely wintry background for the three figures, mostly dressed in bolder colors and who are all accentuated with fine lines of gold. The faces of each are quite expressive and well done for a box in this price range. The drawing is framed with a gold ornament on the top, and another slightly more elaborate one along the sides. The box is hinged, and sits flat. The interior is red. Signed with the name of the artist, village and title.
