The lucky sister who asked for, and received, the world's most beautiful flower enjoys the moment while her sisters and father stand nearby. Notable Fedoskino artist I. Turbeneva created this very lovely piece using her colorful flowing style and an iridescent piece of mother or pearl in the young woman's dress. The color palette made up of cheerful pastels can do much to lift one's spirit, as do the smiling faces of all three women. This mood is carried over to the underside, as well, where the artist painted several bells against a bluish background. Tilted to one side or another, you can almost hear the bell's joyful ring! The box is made out of high quality papier mache, has a hinge at the left, and a dark red interior. It is signed with the name of the artist and village.
