The harmonious palette of wintry grey and warm earth tones is accented with the deep green of a pine tree peeking through its snow covering and the red breasts of a pair of tiny birds in the foreground. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the lid with the artist's name (Golubenkov). There is a hinge on the left, and the interior is red lacquer. The base of this piece is flush.
