This hand-painted nesting doll depicts scenes from the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen". Each doll features a nicely done scene from the story. The face of the girl on each doll is lovely as well, with good detail in her shawl and rich gold in her kokoshnik (headdress). The large size of the biggest doll gives this a very impressive look!
