This charming little fellow - a mushroom gnome - is hand carved from wood and beautifully detailed. The artist carves the flowing hairs on his beard, the folds of his gown, and the texture of his traditional bast shoes and mushroom hat. His robe is embellished with a light coating of metallic gold paint beneath the painted brocade design, as well as little dots of glitter. Gold glitter is dusted on his cap, green glitter is on the leaf resting on the hat, and silver glitter adorns his beard and eyebrows. His face is really nice, with kind blue eyes and a charming smile. There is a little thin crack around his right eye, which has been repaired by the artist. This small flaw adds character to the little guy and doesn't get in the way of his charm at all.--IT142
