The blue and green waves of the raging sea hit the rocky area in the forefront. A lone ship carefully navigating the waters in the distance is being approached by yet another large wave. A large brown cloud invades the light blue sky, threatening to burst with lightening at any moment.

This romantic and turbulent landscape is painted on a papier mache box. The box sits flat and opens without a hinge. The interior is red. Signed with the artist's initials and village. "Made in USSR" is written on the bottom of the box. Lacquer is in very good condition. The box contains a small yellow slip of paper in Russian: the original USSR certificate.
