The box shows a woman going to fill her pail full of water, when a young man says something to her and gestures with his hand. She wants nothing of it, however, and puts her hand up to her ear. Or perhaps she is just playing. Meanwhile, a small group of town folk look on.

The box is bright and uses cheerful colors in traditional Mstera style. A gold ornament surrounds the scene, while the sides are simple black. The box is made out of paper mache and has a red interior. It sits flat with no legs. The lacquer has thinned slightly, but has no chips or deep scratches. It comes with a small Mstera certificate that gives the date of completion (1985), and other information, as well. The box is signed with the name of the artist, village and title.
