Two similar ships sail forward through the turbulent waters. The distinction between the shiny blue color of the sky and water is slight, yet one does not get the sense that these vessels are drawn in some undefined plane. It all looks pretty natural and you can sense the excitement of their journey. The details are quite good, and there are a couple tiny men clinging to some netting in the middle of the foreground ship. The color of the sides and bottom of the box are also sea blue, while the interior is red. The box is made out of papier mache,has a hinge at the left and is signed with the name of the artist and year.
