A battle of two old naval fleets is waged at sea. The ship in the foreground seems to be taking the biggest hit as one sailor jumps into the sea while another dangles from a rope. Puffs of smoke from a ship's arsenal provide the white backdrop helping to vividly show their fate. The distinct blue and red colors of the composition echo the flags of the two opponents. The details are super and this war scene really comes to life. The sides and bottom of the box are a mixture of purples, and dark reds. The box is made out of high quality papier mache and has a hinge at the top. It is signed with the name of the artist and year. It was done back in the year 2001 and is in fine shape.
