Soft peach flowers adorn the edge of the lid, a pattern which is carried through to the sides and bottom of the box in gold. This piece is made of high quality papier mache with a red lacquer interior. The hinge is on the left. The work is signed with village, year, artist (R. Chibisova), and title. The bottom is flat.
