This box shows the cheerful face of a young woman delicately positioned within a sea of radiant gold flowers. One cannot help but enjoy the calm and uplifting look of this well drawn miniature. The base color of the box is very dark, but has very tiny sparkles sprinkled throughout giving it a phosphorescent quality. The box has a hinge on the left and a red interior. It is made out of high quality papier mache. Signed at the bottom with the name of the artist (Novoseltseva), village and year.
