A troika races through the countryside. Both the driver and passenger have concerned looks on their faces as they struggle to keep things under control. A couple of hungry wolves behind them, meanwhile, are keeping a close eye on them, and probably don't have their best interests at heart. This may not be the fun-filled romp that these people would have liked! The spirited box has a unique look as the background to the composition is gold, fading to black. White dots are added to to edges which enhances the wintry atmosphere. A gold ornament on the top and sides has been meticulously painted, as well. The good sized box is made out of high quality papier mache and has a hinge at the top. It was done by Palekh artist Kseniya Grishina back in 2003.
