An elegant landscape of icy grays and pale blues twinkles with a subtle dusting of fine silver glitter and shimmering mother of pearl. The traditional scene is set against a sparkling box of metallic blue crackled with black, which calls to mind frost crystals, and is set below the center of the lid, creating a contemporary feel. Simple borders of silver draw the eye, without distracting, and separate the crackled blue sides from the deep midnight glitter of the flush base. This box is made of high quality papier mache, and is signed on the lid with the artist's name (S. Parmenov). There is a hinge at the top, and the interior is red lacquer.
