A shimmering mosaic of mother of pearl calls to mind the glittering treasures left by the magical stag, Silverhoof. The young girl whose belief in the stag never wavered watches his progress through the window, her cheeks puffed out in wonder. The family cat joins his mistress at the windowsill, mesmerized by the enchanted beats. Carefully placed golden accents add sparkle. The green marbled flush base of the box has several scratches to its surface, but these do not appear to threaten the integrity of the piece. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the lid with the title, artist's name, village, and date of completion. Great price on this intriguing box!
