The slumbering countryside seems to awaken from its lavender slumber in a burst of autumn tones kissed with brilliant white as the sun begins its ascent. Sheer violet mists of wrap the trees in a final caress before being called skyward as the brilliant glimmer of a mother of pearl sunrise pierces the clouds. The rustle of feathers whispers through the stillness as a pair of cranes take flight, each wingbeat echoing off the glistening mother of pearl surface of a secluded stream. A weathered rowboat waits invitingly at the water's edge, adding a cozy sense of welcome. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the lid with the title, artist's name, and date of completion. There is a hinge at the top, and the interior is red lacquer. It rests on four curved legs.
