Generous amounts of glittering golden paint twinkle and glow in this charming cottage shaped box. Woodland animals gather to watch a cherubic sprite gather berries. An impressive number and variety of creatures are represented, each with a nice amount of detail. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the base with the title, artist's name (G. V. Dobrynina), and village. There is a hnge at the top of the "roof" and one of the "eaves" lifts to reveal a red lacquer interior. It rests on four round feet.--BOX1277
