By the light of the full moon a sprite clad in fluffy dandelion down stands atop a stage of chrysanthemums with a violin at the ready. Tattered leaves sway in the night breeze, a sure sign of autumn's approach. Our fairy musician is crowned with a feathery wreath resembling laurel, calling to mind Nero, and refuses to let winter's icy breath stop the recital. The scene is well painted in a striking array of gold and silver, with foil inlays and glitter adding extra sparkle. The scene is framed with thick drizzles of silver, adding depth. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the base with the title, artist's name (O. Yastrebov), village, and date of completion.
