Vladimir Korneev was born in 1963 in the city of Klin. He graduated Fedoskino Art School and the Moscow State Teacher's Institute. In his lacquer miniatures, he likes to paint both his own themes, as well as do copies from paintings, adding his own personal touches for effect. According to the artist, religious motifs are his strength. He lives with his wife Irina, also an artist in Moscow district. He likes to spend in his free time working in the garden.
