Fedoskino artist Irina Turbeneva painted this very colorful box showing four young maidens. The box is in the shape of a half sphere and opens at the very bottom. The milky colored background complements the pastel colors of the ladies' dresses, which are beautifully intermingled with one another in an abstract fashion. The bottom of the box is black, the interior is red. Signed with the name of the artist and village. Turbeneva is one of the top artists in the village and her boxes have appeared in recent books on the subject.
