Russian Bazaar Showing

Welcome back! It's been awhile since we did these Thursday showings, but things will pick up now for a couple weeks, and then closer to the end of the year. Today we start off with several lacquer boxes that have been overlooked by us in the past, partially because of their similarity to others on our site (which have since sold). But while the boxes are similar to ones we have had, they are in no way identical, thus reaffirming the one-of-a-kind nature of Russian lacquer art.

Besides the boxes, we have a Russian bazaar of sorts beyond that, a mix of items you might find at places like Izmailovskij Park in Moscow. (If you travel to that city, don't miss it!) We didn't get as far as we would have liked in putting items in this bazaar, but we will continue to put more things on today and tomorrow, so check back! Who knows what you will see?
