This nifty little work depicts Ivan Tsarevich with a feather from the firebird on front and the entire bird on back. Flowers, trees, ribbons, and even a few stalks of wheat are drawn elsewhere. The box is shaped like a small chest and has two drawers that slide out. On top is an oval shaped cap that also comes off easily. All the details are drawn colorfully and with decent precision. The artist's initials, the name of the work, and the village are written on the back. Very cute unusually shaped box to add to your collection!
