Baba Yaga points a finger at poor Vasilisa in this fine box by D. Rogatov. The milky background gives that frames the scene and spills over to the side give the box a very unique look and somehow make Baba Yaga just a little less threatening. Two nice inlays of mother of pearl bring even more light to the box. Although the witch and the girl are the center of attention, don't miss that big fat cat standing on the steps. The box is made out of high quality papier mache and has a hinge. The bottom is black, and the interior is red. Signed with the name of the artist and year.
