Pavel Govorun was born on 7 December 1971 in the village of Fedoskino where he later graduated the Fedoskino art school. In miniatures he likes to create his own works based on fairy tales and genre scenes. Traditional centuries-old Russian architecture often figures prominently in many of his works and is one of his strengths. His carefully drawn faces carrying well-defined, expressive, almost chisel-like looks are also one of his trademarks. Govorun is very creative and fond of hard work. With the series of extraordinary lacquer miniatures that we've seen from him recently, we can truly say that he is one of the rising stars in this village. In the past, his talent has brought him assignments doing illustrations for books and newspapers, including the publication "Voice of the Universe". Besides lacquer miniatures, he likes to play on the computer, which is his second passion. Govorun is single and lives in Fedoskino.
